Nest Hub Max FCC certification hints at Google I/O reveal
Google could announce the recently leaked Nest Hub Max at its I/O developer conference today, according to a new FCC filing.
The tech giant filed an “interactive video streaming device,” which is codenamed ‘H2A.’ This device supports both Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi, according to the filing.
This codename is relevant, considering that the Google Home Hub was previously named ‘H1A.’
All of this links to the Nest Hub Max, which was leaked on Google’s page last month.
The Nest Hub Max seems to integrate Nest functionality and Google Home Max speakers. It features a 10-inch smart display, a camera that allows Duo video calling and stereo speakers.
Google is also set to announce its Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL, along with Android Q software at its keynote.
The conference starts at 1pm ET/10am PT and can be watched on Google’s I/O website or its Google Developers Youtube channel.
