Intel Officially Reveals 10th Generation Core Processors Codenamed Ice Lake
After announcing its souped up Core i9-9900KS processor, Intel has officially announced its 10th generation Computex 2019. Codenamed Ice Lake, it features the company’s 10nm process technology, the new Sunny Cove architecture, and all-round improvements.
Also new with the 10th generation processor is the new 11th generation graphic engine. Together with the new Intel Iris Plus graphics engine, Intel claims that it will be possible to play a lot of today’s games in 1080p, and with twice the framerate as before.
The 10th generation chips are Intel’s first processors designed with AI performance in mind. Touting the Intel Deep Learning Boost, the company showcased a number of applications that’s not only made possible, but also faster as the result of the tech.
Intel has also announced that the 10th Generation Core processors will come in 11 different SKUs, from Core i3 to Core i7. They’re already being shipped to Intel’s brand partners, and we can expect to see systems equipped with it by the end of 2019.
