Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Android Pie update now available to download in Canada

Late last week Rogers teased that the update to Android Pie for Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users would arrive today, April 1st. It was no joke.

We’ve received tips from several readers that the software update to Android OS 9.0 is now available from most Canadian carriers, including Freedom, Bell, and Rogers.

The file size is just over 1621MB and brings the new One UI experience, night mode, new camera, and notification features.

The update should automatically start downloading, however, you can also get it going by pressing Menu > Settings > About Device > Software Update > Update.
