Rubber Wrestling Lets You Relive The Game Of Your Schooling Days
These days, interactive entertainment for kids revolve around phones and tablets. But for those who are old enough to remember the good ol’ days, there was a time when kids had fun with simple erasers. Now, there’s a game that lets you relive that school days nostalgia – Rubber Wrestling.
Made by indie developer Linteractivity, the game is exactly as a described on the tin. You start by picking your eraser flag, and then proceed to win the game by flipping it over your opponent’s eraser to win. That said, the game itself doesn’t actually set any win conditions, so you are free to add any additional rules as you see fit to your games.
As it is now, the game can actually be a little harder to play than the real thing. You flip your eraser by pressing on the side or corner as you would the real thing, but force is simulated by the amount of time you spend holding your presses down. The physics of the game is, not surprisingly, in need of tweaking; a maxed out flip sends your eraser skyrocketing upwards rather than just flying off the playing table.
Rubber Wrestling is a free game that’s free for anyone to pick up. The version on the Google Play Store only has erasers with the Malaysian and Singaporean flag, but the web version ropes in Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines for the battle as well.
