Xiaomi Black Shark 2 To Be Launched In Malaysia On 1 April

The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has been launched in Beijing, China last night. While the first gen device took some time to arrive in our market, the wait for this model is going to be much shorter.

Andy Foo of Intelligent Earnings Sdn Bhd, the exclusive marketing and sales partner of Black Shark in Malaysia, shared with us during the launch event in Beijing last night that the company aims to begin selling the Black Shark 2 in Malaysia starting 1 April 2019. That said, he did not share with us which configuration will be making it our way, or which colour we will be getting.

As a quick recap, the Black Shark 2 launched with four RAM and storage configurations, and three different colour options. Other specs include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 4000mAh battery.

Given the fact that the Black Shark 2 will be making its way here in just two weeks time, it shouldn’t be that long a wait before we find out which configuration and colour we will be getting. Not to forget, its price tag as well.
