Digi late to the party, experiencing severe service disruption to voice and data services today

Well, it looks like it’s a week of service disruptions as Digi customers joins U Mobile and Maybank customers in experiencing severe service disruptions today – across the country.

Digi customers woke up this morning to find out that their devices were no longer connected to the Digi network. We can independently verify that the service disruption is affecting both voice and data services, including Digi’s mobile broadband service.

Digi has since released a statement via their official social media channels that they are experiencing unplanned service disruption, and estimate that their services will be restored within the next 4 hours.

We regret to inform you that currently there's an unplanned service interruption. We're currently rectifying the issue and the service will be recovered as soon as possible(Estimated time 4 hours). Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. Thank you.

Both Maybank and U Mobile pointed to ‘technical’ issues when queried to the cause of their service degradation over the last couple of days but did not provide details.
