Tesla on track to offer Model 3 leasing options

Tesla plans to offer consumers the option to lease its Model 3 electric vehicle (EV) within the next two weeks, according to Electrek.

Citing “sources familiar with the matter,” the website says Tesla sent an email to its employees detailing the plan. A Tesla spokesperson told Electrek that the company will offer Model 3 leasing options, but later than the dates mentioned in the document.

MobileSyrup has reached out to Tesla to see if leasing options are coming to Canada.

Elon Musk mentioned leasing options in the company’s latest earnings call, but he said that he was hesitant to introduce the option since it could negatively affect the company’s financials, reports Electrek.
