PUBG Mobile Now Has A Resident Evil 2 Crossover Event

Eurogamer reports that PUBG Mobile now has a crossover event with Capcom’s recently released remake of Resident Evil 2 (RE2). The event is now live, with quite a bit of RE2 cosmetics being listed as rewards.

The event is called Zombie: Survive Till Dawn. As the title suggests, it adds zombies and a day-night cycle to your standard battle royale gameplay. It’s a fitting name, since night time is when the entire landscape turns into a zombie survival experience. With iconic RE2 zombies like Gs, Tyrants and Lickers showing up. Zombies are also more aggressive at night, so you’ll likely want to get rid of them first before any opposing players.

During the day, things are more your standard PUBG Mobile experience, with the random fare of zombies thrown into the fray. Every match takes 30 minutes, and you can expect a total of three days and two nights as the 30 minutes cycle through.

Rewards for participating in this include Leon and Claire skin sets, as well as Ada and Marvin costumes. The event itself is said to be available only for a limited time, but there isn’t an end-date as of yet.
