Pokémon Go’s February Community Day spotlights Swinub
Pokémon Go’s February Community Day is focusing on the Ice and Ground-type Swinub, plus its evolutionary forms Piloswine and Mamoswine.
The event takes place on February 16th from 2pm ET/11am PT and lasts for three hours, as per the usual Community Day rules.
During the even Lure Modules will last for three hours, players will get triple the Stardust for catches and they can earn five rewards per Trainer Battle throughout the Community Day weekend.
For the first time, evolve Piloswine with a Sinnoh Stone during or up to one hour after Community Day to obtain a Mamoswine that knows the Rock-type move Ancient Power, a #PokemonGOCommunityDay exclusive! pic.twitter.com/2GRnK0pYHZ

The game’s in-app announcement post even mentions that players can get up to 10 Sinnoh Stones — five from player vs. player battles and five from practice battles against the game’s team leaders.
These stones will come in handy throughout the Community Day since players that evolve a Swinub all the way into a Mamoswine will learn the rare move Ancient Power.
