Here Are The New Emojis That Are Coming To You In 2019

The Unicode Consortium recently has unveiled the finalized edition of Emoji 12.0 which includes 59 new emojis. Considering gender and skin tone variations, users can expect to utilize 230 new emojis once they are implemented within 2019.

Among the new inclusion includes yawning face, dear person, person in wheelchair, person with probing cane, guide dog, service dog, sloth, orangutan, onion, waffle, Hindu temple, and many more. Not to forget, there’s also the pinching hand which seems to have garnered significant attention from netizens due to its potential “suggestive” nature.

Emojipedia has put all of them together in this nifty image sample which is based on information released by Unicode:

Unicode has noted that new emojis usually begin to appear on smartphones in September or October. Nevertheless, expect to see them appear on various operating systems and apps as well as on the web soon enough.
