Chronological Timeline Shortcut Comes To Twitter For Android Via Sparkle Button
iOS users have had this for about a month now, but the feature is finally here for Android. On the Twitter app’s top right corner, you’ll find a sparkle button that lets you switch between “Top Tweets” and the reverse chronological timeline.
That said, it looks like it shares a few features – or kinks, depending on your perspective – as its iOS counterpart. Having “Top Tweets” show first is still the default, and that you’ll still have to make the switch every once in a while.

On the bright side, it means that users of the Twitter app on Android won’t have to go on a deep dive into the app settings just to change this, unlike before. Now, looking at the latest tweets takes only a single tap from the homescreen.
The only platform that’s missing this shortcut now is the web version. You’ll still have to dig your way to your account settings to make the switch.
