Sega Project Judge Renamed To Judgment; Slated For Summer 2019 Release
Sega has previously announced Judge Eyes: Shinigami No Yuigon, the Yazuka-esque game starring Takuya Kimura. The game is out today in Japan, and the publisher has also announced that it will be made available in Summer 2019 for the Western market. It will also have a new name – Judgment.
For what it’s worth, it looks like the long wait is justifiable if you prefer English dubs for the game. As for those who prefer the original voices, there’s good news too, as the game will launch in dual audio.
Judgment (formerly Project JUDGE) is headed to the West in summer 2019! Step into the mind of Takayuki Yagami and utilize investigation skills to uncover the secrets that lie deep within Kamurocho’s corrupt underbelly when Judgment launches in summer 2019! https://t.co/80NWz5uZSe pic.twitter.com/CTNJek18CA

Subtitles will also come in both languages, but it’s important to note that the English subs will match the English script. It remains to be seen if the game will suffer from overlocalisation the way Final Fantasy XV and a number of other games did.
For anyone wondering about the original Japanese VO in Judgment, the game will launch with dual audio, meaning you can swap back and forth at will!
Dual subs as well based on which audio track is selected – EN matches the EN script, JP subs are the traditional Yakuza experience.

Either way, this certainly adds Judgment into the list of games to look out for in 2019.
