Intel Graphics Xe Concept Renders Appear Online

Intel’s first graphics card, codenamed Xe, won’t be gracing our PCs, at least until the year 2020. Suffice to say, until the card becomes official, how the card looks and performs is left to our imagination. In the case of Cristiano Siqueira (@CSiqueira97), the man recently shared his designs over what he imagines the finished product would look like.

The concept renders are nothing short of breathtaking, but that is to be expected Siqueira. The man is relatively well known in the concept art community for creating renders of various Radeon graphics card concepts. The design seem to hit all the right notes for a card’s reference design too; a card featuring a dark silver and blue LED design to mimic Intel’s Optane design.

Additionally, there’s a full cover backplate, emblazoned with a large “Xe” into the back of it. One thing to take note is the exposed GPU Siqueira in one of the pictures; a subtle nod to AMD’s habit of leaving the back portion of the GPU exposed. Even with a backplate attached to it.

At last, the Renderings are complete!

Once again, these renders are just concepts and artistic impressions of a yet to be released graphics card. As pretty the images are, there’s still no saying what the final and official renders of Intel’s desktop graphics card will look like. Until then, do take these images with a mountain of salt.
