Xiaomi And IKEA Partner Up To Bring AI To More Home Appliances
Xiaomi and IKEA has announced a partnership that will bring the former’s AI to the latter’s smart products.
Donovan Sung, Xiaomi’s director of product management at Xiaomi, tweeted that the partnership will come into effect starting December. This followed the announcement made during Xiaomi’s AIoT Developer Conference in Beijing.
Essentially, this will see IKEA’s smart products become integrated and compatible with Xiaomi’s Mi Home app and the Xiao AI assistant. A few new items will be launched with this collaboration in mind as well. And all of them can be controlled using your voice, using Xiaomi’s smart home interface.
