Overwatch’s New Hero Ash Is A Lever-Action Rifle-Totting, Dynamite Tossing Gunslinger

During BlizzCon, Blizzard didn’t just announce Diablo Immortal; the company opened with a keynote revealing Ashe, someone who seems like she knows McCree from ways back.

From the looks of it, Ashe looks to be a pretty well-rounded offensive character. Her main weapon is a lever-action rifle. Hers specifically looks to be effective at long enough ranges to be a match to Widowmaker, at least according to her gameplay video.

She also sports a sawn-off shotgun for close-range encounters, which can also seemingly give her a boost off the ground as acts as her stun move. That likely means it’s going to have a cooldown.

She can also lob a bundle of dynamite to clear out crowds, though it remains to be seen if the fuse is going to be a mechanic on its own. or if the dynamite explodes on impact. Her ultimate summons her bodyguard B.O.B., a large omnic with a wrist-mounted Gatling gun.

No availability date was revealed alongside the announcement, but Ashe makes an interesting addition to the game. And with Red Dead Redemption 2 being just released, the timing of the announcement feels kind of fitting.
