Nokia X7 Smartphone Pops Up In China; Comes With Snapdragon 710 And Dual-Camera Main Array
Following in the wake of the Nokia 7.1, HMD Global announced the Nokia X7. A mid-range smartphone that seems to have only been announced in China.
According to multiple sources, the Nokia X7 comes with near-flagship hardware. Specifically, the phone sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ LCD notched display, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and up to 6GB RAM.
Speaking of memory, the phone appears to have two variants: 4GB RAM and with 64GB of expandable storage, and 6GB RAM with 128GB expandable storage. Powering it all is a 3500mAh battery.
The main camera of the Nokia X7 utilises a dual-array setup, comprising a 12MP f/1.8 + 13MP f/1.8 Sony IMX 363 sensors. Both of which have a size of 1.4μm. The front-facing camera only sports a single 20MP f/20 1.8μm sensor. Oh, and the Nokia X7 seems to also have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nokia X7 will first be launching in China starting 23 October. Pricing for the phone will be set at RMB1699 (~RM1017) for the 4GB/64GB variant, while the 6GB/128GB variant will retail for RMB2499 (~RM1497). At the time of writing, there’s no news as to when and if the brand’s parent company intends to make the model available outside of the mainland.
