Dell Launches New Inspiron 5000 and 7000 Series Notebooks In Malaysia; Pricing Starts From RM2869

Dell has launched its new Inspiron 5000 and 7000 series notebooks for both the consumer and professional users. Both Inspiron models feature both a basic notebook model and a 2-in-1 convertible variant.

Notebooks under the Inspiron 5000 series are the Inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1 (5482), and the Inspiron 14 5000 (5480). On that note, the 2-in-1 variant comes with some pretty nifty features. Including a new thermal routing design and narrow bezels for its touch-enabled display.

Besides that, both variants sport Intel’s 8th generation U-series CPU, up to 32GB DDR4 RAM. Plus an optional NVIDIA GeForce MX150 discrete GPU. Ports-wise, both devices feature a USB Type-C port, a HDMI port, three USB Type-A ports, and an SD Card reader.

The Inspiron 13 7000 series notebooks share similar features as the notebooks under the Inspiron 14 5000 series, albeit with a few differences. For instance, the Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 (7386) has a Full HD display as a default configuration, but there is an option fitting it with a 4K UHD touch display.

Also like the Inspiron 14 5000 2-in-1, the display of the Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 (7386) sports thin, narrow bezels. Giving users a wider, and bigger view of their content on the smaller display.

Besides these features, both the Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 (7386) and Inspiron 7000 (7380) notebooks are fitted with the latest 8th generation U-series CPU and up to 16GB DDR4 RAM. Unlike its Inspiron 14 5000 brethren, these notebooks do not have the option of being fitted with a discrete GPU.
