Huawei Wireless Charger Certified By FCC; Outputs Up To 15 Watts

Huawei’s upcoming wireless charger will have a maximum output of 15 watts for it upcoming Huawei Mate 20 series. The new wireless charger was spotted on FCC getting its certification for sale worldwide.

We have seen that the bundled power brick for Huawei smartphones will charge up to 40 Watts. The new wireless charger, while only just below half the wattage, still packs a punch when compared to other manufacturers. For context, Samsung’s Wireless Charger Stand is only rated for 7.5 Watts.

Huawei’s Super Charge technology is acknowledged as one of the best and faster chargers on the current market. The wireless charging is also Qi compliant, so it can be used by other smartphones provided that they support Qi charging.

With the new wireless charger, Huawei is looking to carve its name in the fast charging world for both wired and wireless solutions. The release of this charger also cements the fact that the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 series will have wireless charging built-in – at least for one model in the series.
