HTC Announces U12 life Smartphone; Comes With Snapdragon 636 And Dual-Camera Setup
HTC recently announced its U12 life smartphone. Unlike its current U12+ flagship, the U12 life is a phone featuring mid-range hardware crammed into a new two-tone design.
Specs-wise, the U12 life sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, 4GB RAM with 64GB of expandable storage, and a 3600mAh non-removable battery. Just like its big brother as well, the U12 life sports a dual 16MP + 5MP f/2.0 camera as its main array, and a 13MP f/2.0 front-facing camera. In terms of software, the phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, along with HTC’s Sense UI.

The phone also sports a 6-inch 18:9 ratio Full HD+ display, and because it’s running on a Snapdragon 636, the HTC U12 life is capable of recording videos in glorious 4K resolution. Other specifications include a USB Type-C port and Bluetooth 5.0.

The HTC U12 life will be launching first in Europe, and will be priced at €350 (~RM1674). At the time of writing, HTC did not specify any local availability or pricing.
