unifi TV Is Facing Service Disruption

Reports have coming in from users everywhere that there is a service disruption happening to unifi TV at the moment. Based on reports that users posted on Twitter, the disruption begins around 1130am with many of them pointed out that even though the IPTV service is down but their unifi’s Internet connection still working fine.

Some users also pointed out that the service’s channel 100 which users can use to browse all unifi TV channels in mosaic form still functions although once users choose a specific channel, they will not able to view the contents. Most users have restarted not only their unifi TV set top box but the whole set of unifi network equipment as well but the disruption still remains.

At this moment, TM has yet to make any announcements regarding the service disruption through any of its communications channel including the official unifi TV Twitter account as well as unifi’s Twitter-based customer support. Our attempt to contact its customers service via Live Chat has not being fruitful at the moment since we somehow not able to connect to the chat at all.

Do note that the disruption seems to not affect the unifi playTV mobile apps. Meanwhile, we’ll keep you updated once we hear more. So, stay tuned.
