Nvidia CEO Gives Away 20 Limited Edition 32GB Titan V ‘CEO Edition’ Graphics Cards

Nvidia’s CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang, has apparently unveiled and given away 20 of the company’s ‘newest’ graphics cards to artificial intelligence researchers, during the recently held Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition conference. The graphics card in question is dubbed the “Titan V CEO Edition” and it comes with one rather exclusive feature.

For those who may remember, Nvidia launched the Titan V late last year, and it came with 12GB of HBM2 memory. The new Titan V CEO Edition graphics card, on the other hand, now comes with an eye-watering VRAM capacity of 32GB, which is 20GB more than the original. In addition, this graphics card is also endowed with 6MB of L2 Cache and about 125 TFLOPS of Tensor Core performance.

Although not confirmed by Nvidia, sources have mentioned that due to the increase in VRAM capacity, the memory bandwidth of the Titan V CEO Edition may have been increased significantly. Unfortunately, the performance numbers of this graphics card was not detailed by Nvidia at the time of writing.

Given how the original Titan V was priced at US$2,999 (about RM11,993), we do expect the Titan V CEO Edition to come with a significantly higher price tag given its impressive spec bump. That said, whether or not this graphics card will be made available for purchase remains to be seen. And for those who are still wondering: no, this graphics card is not meant to be used for gaming.
