#LYTV: What Is IGTV?

Last week, Instagram announced a new app: IGTV. Essentially, it’s a platform for Instagram content creators to post long-form videos…in a vertical format.

That’s right, IGTV is basically Instagram’s answer to YouTube. Currently, videos can be up to 10 minutes long, but more prominent accounts can post videos up to an hour long. In the future, Instagram hopes to let users post videos of any length.
