Lian Li Showacases World’s First RGB PSU Cable

Ever since the recent increase in interest for RGB lighting amongst PC gamers and enthusiasts, many hardware-related companies have started to release components that are dazzled with customisable LED lights; namely graphics cards, RAM, CPU fans and etc. This time round, however, it looks like RGB lighting has now arrived to PSU cables as well.

Lian Li has just debuted what it claims to be the world’s first RGB power connector cable. Dubbed the “Strimer”, Lian Li’s newest product looks rather stunning when fitted inside a system. To be more specific, the Stimer is basically a PSU extension cable, which can either be fitted onto one’s motherboard or other compatible components.

What makes Lian Li’s Strimer even more interesting is the fact that users can also sync the lighting output of the flamboyant PSU cables to third party “RGB softwares” like the MSI Mystic Light Sync and Asus Aura Sync. In addition, the Strimer also has 10 pre-installed lighting modes as well.

Those aside, the Lian Li Strimer is indeed a perfect component for those who really want to turn their PCs into a fireworks show. Unfortunately, Lian Li has made no mention of when the Strimer will be released locally. We’ll be sure to keep you updated should there be an update to this in the coming weeks.
