Telus to donate to anti-bullying programs for each Canadian who takes a digital pledge
Telus has announced the ‘Telus Wise Digital Pledge,’ a charitable initiative that aims to crack down on cyberbullying.
According to Telus, at least one million children are affected by cyberbullying each month.
To help reduce these numbers, Telus says it will donate $1 to anti-bullying programs across Canada for every person that takes a digital pledge to be “kind and respectful online.”
The pledge also asks Canadians to manage their online reputations, security and privacy and use technology responsibly and in moderation.
