New HP Elite 1000 Series Features Notebooks, AiO, And Portable Display

HP today launch a plethora of new personal computers under its Elite 1000 series. The Elite 100 series consists of several notebooks, an AiO desktop PC, and a portable display.

Under the Elite notebook range, HP released the EliteBook x360 1030 G3, the Elite x2 1013 G3, and the EliteBook 1050 G1. As you would expect with a HP notebook bearing the x360 moniker, the EliteBook X360 1030 G3 is convertible that switches between a regular laptop and a tablet.

Weighing in at just 1.25kg and with a thickness profile of just 15.8mm, the EliteBook x360 1030 G3 comes fitted with the latest Intel 8th-gen CPU, and a choice between a Full HD or UHD 13.3″ anti-glare touch display. It also has a battery that promises up to 18 hours of continuous use.

The HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3 will retail at a starting SRP of US$1,449 (~RM5,726), and is expected to be available in the US in June.

The Elite x2 1013 G3 has also been given a refresh. The notebook cum tablet now fits a 13.3″ display into a 12″ chassis, which really emphasises on its already compact form factor. Specs-wise, the Elite x2 1013 G3 has the option of being fitted with the latest Intel 8th-gen vPro CPUs, a 4G LTE modem capable of achieving Cat9 LTE speeds. It also comes with a dedicated stylus, so users can take full advantage of the device’s tablet mode.

The HP Elite x2 1013 G3 will retail at a starting SRP of US$1,499 (~RM5,924). It is expected to be available in the US sometime in June.

Last on the list of Elite notebooks is the EliteBook 1050 G1. Featuring an ultraslim design, the EliteBook 1050 G1 has a 15.6″ diagonal display, weighs 2.05kg, and has a thickness of 18.9mm. Additionally, the notebook houses an Intel 8th-gen Core processors, a dual SSD in RAID configuration, and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 discrete GPU. It also comes with a multitude of ports, which include two USB Type-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support.

The EliteBook 1050 G1 will be available in the US starting this month, and will retail at a starting SRP of US$1,899 (~RM7,504).

Next on the list is the EliteOne 1000 AiO, HP’s newest and gorgeous looking All-in-One PC. The machine comes in three display configurations: 23″ Full HD (with an additional touch or non-touch panel), 27″ UHD non-touch, or a 34″ WQHD non-touch display.

Regardless of the display choice, the EliteOne 1000 is also packing some pretty beefy hardware. Inside its base, the PC sports an Intel 8th-gen CPU and an undisclosed discrete GPU that is powerful enough to power the 34″ curved display. Additionally, the speaker system is tweaked by Bang & Olufsen, allowing it to double as a media and entertainment hub.

The EliteOne 1000 AiO G2 is expected to go on sale in the US in June, and will have a starting SRP of US$1,279 (~RM5,054).

HP also launched its EliteDisplay S14. The EliteDisplay S14 is designed for those who are used to having a second screen while they work. It sports a simple 14″ Full HD portable display, and to power it up, they only need to connect it to their notebooks via a USB Type-C port (provided that the notebook actually has one).

The EliteDisplay S14 will be available sometime in July, and is expected to have a starting SRP of US$219 (~RM865).

At the time of writing, HP Malaysia did not specify if and when they would be bringing the new devices into the country.
