Netflix HDR support comes to Huawei Mate 10 Pro, P20, Sony Xperia XZ2

Netflix has added HDR support to the Sony Xperia XZ2, Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Huawei P20.

As spotted by Android Police, Netflix’s list of HDR-supported devices has been updated to include the trio of smartphones.

Netflix first introduced HDR on mobile with the LG G6 in May 2017 and has since updated its app to also support the Xperia XZ2, Huawei Mate 10 Pro and P20 join the Razer Phone, Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Samsung Galaxy S9, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, Sony Xperia XZ Premium and Sony Xperia XZ1.

Some of the Netflix shows featured in HDR include A Series of Unfortunate Events and Marvel’s Daredevil and Luke Cage.

The new HDR support is available in the latest version of the Netflix app on Android.
