Google Introduce Cheaper Cloud Storage With Google One
Google has announced a new cloud storage service called Google One. It’s an upgrade to the current Google Drive platform, offering with better value and more features for paid users. Providing an actual reason to pay for additional storage space.
The storage plans are now cheaper than what Google Drive is currently offering, with options of up to 30TB. In addition, Google One will provide more features for subscribers. Every Google One subscribers will have access to “Google Experts” for customer support. The customer support is not only limited to Google One as users can also get assistance for other Google services.
Apart from that, there’s an option for subscribers to share their storage with up to five family members. Of course, every member will get their own private storage space. Google one will also provide extra benefits like credits on Google Play and also special deals on select hotels in Google Search for Google One customers. The Google One plans are as follows:
- 100GB = $1.99 per month (RM7.86)
- 200GB = $2.99 per month (RM11.82)
- 2TB = $9.99 per month (RM39.48)
- 10TB = $99.99 per month (RM395.16)
- 20TB = $199.99 per month (RM790.36)
- 30TB = $299.99 per month (RM1185.56)
In terms of availability, no specific date was mentioned. Though, Google said that the service will be available later this year. Paid Google Drive customers will be upgraded automatically to Google One in the next few months.
