EA Reveals PC System Requirements For Battlefield V

EA has announced the PC system requirements for its upcoming first-person shooter game: Battlefield V.  For those who may not be aware, Battlefield V is the 16th game under the Battlefield game series. Like Battlefield 1, EA’s Battlefield V will continue the World War 2 “theme” as well. The game is slated for release on 19 October 2018.

Despite being a 2018 game, Battlefield V doesn’t require super powerful (and expensive) hardware to run smoothly. When it comes to CPU requirements, one would need either an AMD FX-6350 or Intel Core i5-6600K processor. In addition, the upcoming game also requires, at minimum, 8GB RAM.

In terms of graphics horsepower, gamers would need either a Radeon HD 7850 or GTX 660 graphics card, at least. And finally, Battlefield V would also occupy 50GB of HDD space. Of course, running the game at higher graphical settings would require even beefier hardware. What’s interesting about Battlefield V’s PC system requirements is the fact that it’s almost identical to Battlefield 1’s.

Those aside, Battlefield V won’t just be coming out for PC; the game will also, unsurprisingly, be made available for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. it’s worth noting that given the rather distant release date, one shouldn’t be too surprised to see EA changing the PC system requirements for Battlefield V nearer to the launch.
