As promised, Xiaomi just moments ago has officially unveiled yet another new phone under its wings called Mi Mix 3. The new phone features a rather interesting solution in order to deliver edge-to-edge full-screen experience while still able to avoid having a notch on its display.
The solution comes in the form of a magnetic-based sliding body which would also reveal the phone’s dual front camera setup which consisted of a Sony IMX576 24MP sensor alongside a 2MP DOF camera. Xiaomi claimed that the slider mechanism which utilizes neodymium magnets has a life expectancy of 300,000 cycles.
That’s not all though as users can also utilize the sliding mechanism to answer calls, access shortcuts drawer, or start a specific app. As for the display itself, Mi Mix 3 features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel and has 93.4% screen-to-body ratio.
